From some of our rooms, during the correct season, you can see the nets where tuna are captured. The restaurant at Hotel Antonio is a leading eatery in the province in terms of red tuna cooking. On the menu you will find many ways it is prepared, from traditional stews or grilled to oriental preparations. To round off your dining experience, you can choose to eat in our dining room with sea views or enjoy a terrace where you can feel the sea breeze in your hair.
The streets of Zahara de los Atunes are home to a multitude of tapas bars. The town has become famous for its beaches as well as the quality of its cuisine. You can enjoy tapas in bars in the centre, where of course you will find fried fish, or you can take a seat on a terrace and enjoy some fish caught along the coast, retinto beef from cows that graze near the beach and, of course, tuna.
However, to ensure none of this affects your svelte figure, in addition to walks along the beach you can enjoy horse rides, fishing trips, golf or excursions to nearby settlements. Vejer and Tarifa are really close!
